Flickr vs. youtube

flickr vs. youtube Did flickr start a war with youtube, viddler or other video websites? No i think not. On the famous photo website Flickr will it be possible to upload small video’s. When you are a pro member of flickr, you are since yesterday allowed to upload 90 seconds of video. why 90 seconds. thats my question as well.

the answer came from the flickr blog, they tried not to follow existing video site but follow their own vision, “Sharing photo’s and now video which are taken by you to share with friends and family” I personally think its great that the choice is made not to follow but to lead!

Twitter addiction

ok, i got a new addiction called Twitter. Twitter is a so-called micro-bloging site, you can write in less then 140 characters what your are doing, reading or thinking. Sounds kinda useless, actually when u begin twittering it is really useless but when adding friends allover the world sharing the same interests its really a inspiration source, and a source for new information on all kinds of stuff.

Example: i have a few marketing, SEO and web designers in twitter, this way i keep updated of all cool blog posts in my field of interest. It can be a bit dangerous for your productivity sometimes, like yesterday i receive so much interesting twitters that i kept reading but stop working.
