We at MicroDesign create websites assuming their lazy, which most of the people are. potential clients, blog readers or just normal web surfers are mostly in search of information. To make this quicker they like to speed read, trough site’s and decide in a split second of they want to stay or not. It’s important to make this possible for them, we have a few small tips how you can do this best.
Create a heading text on top of all your pages with the largest font used on your site (so no other less interesting part of your site should have a bigger font), this heading text need to contain only 3 or 4 words (small sentence) which explains what the article or page is about.it depends on the size of your text, but almost all texts need to contain sub headings. you can do this with a bit bigger font than your normal paragraph or just a short sentence in bold will do the trick. At last if you have a bigger text you can make sub-sub headings with the same size as normal paragraphs only bold or something.
To make your text even more clear u can assist them by images, bold, italic or underlined words but be warned of 1 thing. overview is the most important things. end paragraphs when needed and use spacing on your headings so its easy to see its a part of the text. Don’t use headings, bold, italic and underlined texts to much!
