2 Hockey sets i forgot to post
It has been a while, been a bit inactive and busy with my webdesign company. But here are 2 new fieldhockey sets i forgot to post.
Rotterdam Challengers – Eiffel Towers Den Bosch
Last week i attended the exciting match Rotterdam Challengers – Eiffel Towers Den Bosch. This was my first time shooting basketball and i loved it really, fast and powerful action. To bad this sport is not as big as in the US. Shooting it was not easy but i think for a first time i have some pretty neat shots. They may look a bit different to you but i’ve been experimenting with Adobe lightroom for the first time as well.
Renault eco2 NK Kitesurf 2009
This weekend i watched the dutch championships kite surfing in Scheveningen (The Hague). With a sick wind on saturday and a nice firm wind + sun on sunday this was a great weekend with a lot of photos. Here is my first part of this weekend, with more than 3800 frames shot there is still a lot to edit

Icehockey – The Hague – Eindhoven
Yesterday i was invited to shoot a ice hockey match at the Uithof in The Hague, this was my first chance of shooting one of my favorite sports ice hockey, while i shot a lot of field hockey this is something totally different. A lot faster, less light, and almost nothing is predictable. Also the boardings gave me a extra challenge. A lot of NHL shooter shoot trough the glass on the back of the goal. This way you really see the players coming toward you. but badly enough the glass was in a real bad shape and there was no way i could shoot trough that. Anyhow i think seeing the results i can improve much. And i hope they will let me shoot some time soon again!
Hockey Heren1 HC Rotterdam – Hurley
This week i also shot the men’s game, HCR – Hurley. I’m always surprised what a amount of power those guys use when running or shooting. The contrast between the women and men are huge. This makes it fun to watch but even greater to shoot. This week i was especially really happy with the shot of this article. the guys made a goal from the penalty corner, he is just flying in the air, bizar picture and sure a picture that displays the enormous power he gives in this shot!
HC Rotterdam dames1 – Den Bosch
This sunday i saw a great energetic match, a lot of action and power in every minute of the game! This time i tried some shots in front of the border again. This way i can setup low to the ground to make amazing shots! hope you guys like them as well!
HC Rotterdam Meisjes A1 – Leiden MA1
Today HCR Meisjes A1 played at the hockey stadium next to my home, i thought let see there skills and see if there are some good photographic opportunities. Since the power and speed is a lot less then with Senior players i still managed to get some decent shots. although not as spectacular as i wanted to. but ok good enough to post them. Tomorrow i will capture both Senior women and men games.
Sneakerz festival 2009 Aquabest eindhoven
This was for me my closing party for the festival season, and something i least expected this was one of the best festivals I’ve been to this summer. The best was actually Rockit open air, but Sneakerz is a great second. Great people, good atmosphere, perfect line-up and a festival location that’s really nice and almost special! Personally i felt terrible that day, never been more tired whole year but even though i stayed to the end.
