Maybe I’m just spoiled, but shooting sports with just 1 body is a hell! However, since this weekend I acquired a new toy. The Canon EOS 7D, for me it was a decision between a upgrade to the 1D Mark IV or a second body the 7D. While I was sceptic about the Auto Focus tracking and the quality difference of the 1D series’s body in comparison to the 7D, but actually I’m blown away. (more…)

Finally, i got a new lens, after using the old Canon 70-200 without much happiness i finally bought the new big brother. It costs way to much but after using it in a few sport shoots now i really really love it. Its way faster, sharper, has more contrast and the shots are a lot more saturated. I am 100% sure it is going to be my favorite all round lens. For field hockey its perfect to shoot for like 1/4th of the field, in the near future combined with a 300 2.8 (with 1.4 tc) it is going to be my favorite sport setup (with a second body of course) Checkout my latest 2 fieldhockey sets for pictures i made with this baby!
